Lyrics:

I am a poor, wayfaring stranger
While traveling through this world of woe
Yet there's no sickness, toil, nor danger
In that bright world to which I go

I'm going there to see my Father
I'm going there no more to roam
I'm only a going over Jordan
I'm only a going over home

I know dark clouds will gather 'round me
I know my way is rough and steep
But golden fields lie out before me
Where God's redeemed shall ever sleep

I'm going there to see my mother
She said she'd meet me when I come
I'm only a going over Jordan
I'm only a going over home

I'll soon be free from every trial
My body sleep in the church yard
I'll drop the cross of self denial
And enter on my great reward

I'm going there to see my Savior
To sing His praise forever more
I'm only going over Jordan
I'm only going over home

I'm only going over home

(Just come on and) Hold (to His hand) to God's unchanging hand

Whatsoever years may bring
If by earthly friends forsaken
(Children) Still more closely to Him cling (to Him cling)

"Enter His Gates" Words and music (as "He Has Made Me Glad"): Leona Von Brethorst
Arrangement: Danice Sweet
Guest Vocalists and Lead: Grant Cary and Heath Cary

Lyrics:

Well, I woke up this morning feeling fine
I woke up with Heaven on my mind
I woke up with joy in my soul
'Cause I knew my Lord had control
Well, I knew I was walking in the light
'Cause I'd been on my knees in the night
And I prayed until the Lord made it right
And now I'm feelin' mighty fine

Chorus 1:
Well, I'm feelin', feelin' mighty fine (feeling mighty fine, yes I'm feeling fine)
I've got Heaven on my mind (Heaven on my mind, Heaven on my mind)
Don't you know I want to go (know I want to go, yes I want to go)
Where the milk and honey flow (milk and honey flow, milk and honey flow)
There's a light that always shines (light that always shines, light that always shines)
Down inside this heart of mine (in this heart of mine, in this heart of mine)
I've got Heaven, Heaven on my mind (Heaven on my mind, Heaven on my mind)
And I'm feelin', feelin' mighty fine (feeling mighty fine)

I've been walking with Jesus all the time
We're walking and talking as we climb
We're traveling the road to the sky
Where I know I'll live when I die
He's been telling me all about that land
And He tells me that everything is grand
And He says that the home will be mine
And now I'm feelin' mighty fine

Repeat Chorus 1

This is the day (this is the day)
That the Lord has made (that the Lord has made)
We will rejoice (we will rejoice)
And be glad in it (and be glad in it)

This is the day that the Lord has made
We will rejoice and be glad in it
This is the day (this is the day)
That the Lord has made

And I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart
I will enter His courts with praise
I will say this is the day that the Lord has made
I will rejoice for He has made me glad

Chorus:
He has made me glad
He has made me glad
I will rejoice for He has made me glad
He has made me glad
He has made me glad
I will rejoice for He has made me glad

Never Grow Old

Words and music: James C. Moore (1914)
This song also appeared on Songs My Mother Used to Sing by The Sounds of Glory.
Lead: Danice Sweet

Lyrics:

I have heard of a land on the far away strand
'Tis a beautiful home of the soul
Built by Jesus on high, where we never shall die
'Tis a land where we never grow old

Chorus:
Never grow old, (where we'll) never grow old
In a land where we'll never grow old
Never grow old, (where we'll) never grow old
In a land where we'll never grow old

When our work here is done and the life crown is won
And our troubles and trials are o'er
All our sorrow will end, and our voices will blend
With the loved ones who've gone on before

Repeat Chorus (x2)

Scriptural Reference:

My Lord Arose

Words and music: Danice Sweet
Lead: Danice Sweet

Lyrics:

Up from the grave He arose
My Lord arose

My Jesus walked on water and He walked on solid ground (walked on ground)
He healed the lame, He made them walk, He's working even now
He sent the Holy Spirit and He comforts me each day
He intercedes for me each time I pray

Chorus:
My Lord arose (rose)
Up from the grave to conquer death
My Lord arose (rose)
Up on the third day filled with breath
He died (He died), He rose (He rose), I'm going to meet Him and Heaven knows
The tomb is empty 'cause my Lord arose

My Jesus knows when I am happy, knows when I am sad (when I am sad)
He knows when I am burdened and each trouble that I've had
He knows when I'm discouraged, even when I'm feeling low
Don't have to tell Him 'cause my Jesus knows

Repeat Chorus

He gave up everything on earth to save me from my sin (from my sin)
He said He's coming back so He can take me home with Him
I never have to doubt a single thing my Savior said
He rose again and is no longer dead

He arose a victor from the dark domain
And He lives forever with His saints to reign
He arose (He arose), He arose (He arose)
Hallelujah Christ arose

Repeat Chorus

(Christ arose)
The tomb is empty 'cause my Lord arose
Christ arose

Take my hand, precious Lord

I am tired, I'm weak, I'm worn
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light

Repeat Chorus

When my way grows drear (precious Lord, lead me, precious Lord, lead me)
Precious Lord, linger near (precious Lord, lead me, precious Lord, lead me)
When my life is almost gone
Hear my cry, hear my call
Hold my hand lest I fall

When the shadows appear
And the night draws near
And the day is past and gone
At the river I'll stand
Guide my feet, hold my hand

Repeat Chorus

Precious Lord, take my hand (precious Lord, lead me, precious Lord, lead me)
Lead me on, let me stand (precious Lord, lead me, precious Lord, lead me)

For this Thy dying sorrow, thy pity without end
O make me Thine forever and should I fainting be
Lord, let me never, never outlive my love to Thee
