Lyrics:
I am thinking today of that beautiful land I shall reach when the
sun goeth down When through wonderful grace by my Savior I
stand Will there be any stars in my crown?
Chorus: Will there be any stars, any stars in my crown When at
evening the sun goeth down (goeth down)? When I wake with the blest in
the mansions of rest Will there be any stars in my crown (any stars in
my crown)?
O what joy it will be when His face I behold Living gems at his feet
to lay down! It would sweeten my bliss in the city of gold Should
there be any stars in my crown
Repeat Chorus
Scriptural Reference:
"And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of
glory that will never fade away." 1 Peter 5:4
May all alleluias when spoken and heard (and heard) Be heartfelt

words) And with each passing moment 'til the ending of our days (our
days) Be filled to overflowing with our never ending praise
When I'm heavy laden (laden), when my friends are gone (all
gone) When I'm all forsaken, when I'm left to walk
alone (alone) I'll just keep on smilin', (keep on) smilin' through my
tears (Because I) For I know my Saviour is there
Chorus: I'll bear my burden (I will bear my burden), my load of care
(and my load of care) If He's before me (If He goes before me), I will
go anywhere (I'll go anywhere) Well many troubles all around me, I'll
not despair (yet I'll not despair) (Because I) For I know my Saviour is
there
There's a rolling river (river), Jordan deep and wide (so wide) But
He will deliver safely to the other side (bright side) But whate'er
waits me, (I know) I'll be satisfied (Because I) For I know my Saviour
is there
Repeat Chorus (x2)
Scriptural Reference:
"You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise
the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again
will my people be shamed. Then you will know that I am in Israel,
that I am the Lord your God, and that there is no other; never again will
my people be shamed." Joel 2:26-27
Each day is like heaven, my heart overflows The longer I serve Him,
the sweeter He grows
Spoken Vocal: You know, it's been over 40 years since I became a
servant of Jesus and in all those years, He's never once let me
down. Not that I always understood everything that He was doing in
my life, but I've served Him long enough to know that even when family
members dissapoint you, when friends let you down, or when sickness and
death fill you with despair. If you just reach out, Jesus is right
there. I can look back at those valleys I've walked through and see
that, even when I thought I was all alone, that Jesus was with me all the
way. Truly the longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows.
Chorus: The longer serve Him, the sweeter He grows The more that
I love Him, more love He bestows Each day is like heaven, my heart
overflows The longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows
Since I started for the Kingdom Since my life He controls Since I
gave my heart to Jesus The longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows
Repeat Chorus
Scriptural Reference:
"If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in
prosperity and their years in contentment." Job 36:11

fail
Chorus: He's the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the
end He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul God can do anything,
anything, anything God can do anything but fail
He can save, He can cleanse He can keep, and He will God can do
anything but fail He can save, He can cleanse He can keep, and He
will God can do anything but fail
Repeat Chorus

of them And a friend will not say never 'Cause the welcome will not

Years I spent in vanity and pride Caring not my Lord was
crucified Knowing not it was for me He died on Calvary
Chorus: Mercy there was great, and grace was free Pardon there
was multiplied to me There my burdened soul found liberty at
Calvary
By God’s Word at last my sin I learned Then I trembled at the law
I’d spurned Till my guilty soul imploring turned to Calvary

Twas a light filled with aimless desperation Without hope walked the

one touch then a new life began

heartache and defeat I will praise Him forever and ever For the
cross made the difference for me
