It's All From You

Words and music: Keith Nunn
Lead: Keith Nunn

Lyrics:

Chorus 1:
You give me life, you give me breath
You give me everything I’ll ever have
You give me love, you give me peace
You give me everything I’ll ever need
It’s all from you

As I take a long hard look around this life of mine
I try so hard to find the things I think will last through all of time
I think of all the things I’ve earned and what I have received
But the only things I know will last are the things You’ve given me

Chorus 2:
You give me life (You give me life), you give me breath (You give me breath)
You give me everything I’ll ever have
You give me love (You give me love), you give me peace (You give me peace)
You give me everything I’ll ever need
It’s all from you

So now I’m here upon my knees to thank You mighty Lord
For giving me the things which no man here could ever quite afford
I praise Your holy name and thank You for Your gift of love
And thank You for the Son You gave to us from Heaven high above

Repeat Chorus 2

And if I ever start to think that I’m deprived
Of anything upon this earth I’ll know that it’s a lie
‘Cause everything I think of as something I might need
Is something You’ve already prepared for me

Repeat Chorus 2

You give me life

Scriptural Reference:

"He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"  Romans 8:32
"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."  James 1:17

Free

Words and music: Keith Nunn
Lead: Kevin Nunn

Lyrics:

Sin had kept me so far from Him
I was so lost I’d thought of giving in
All I could feel were these chains that bound me
Until one day in Jesus I believed

I’d heard the story a hundred times
Of  “Jesus the Savior” who hung and died
But on that day, when I finally received
Jesus my savior, now I’m free

Chorus:
I’m free from my sin I’m free from the world
Not giving in to the Devil’s words
I’m free from everything that bound me (yes I am free)
I’m free from the guilt of the things I’ve done
I’m holding on to the Holy One
And now I am sure I’m free (yes I am free)

There are still days when I’m feeling down
It’s easy to think that You’re not around
The world keeps trying to get to me
Until I remember I’m still free

Repeat Chorus

But freedom’s not just mine to hold
‘Cause Jesus can save your soul
And give you life eternally
So you too can be free

Repeat Chorus

And now I am sure I’m free (yes I am free)
Yes I am free

Scriptural Reference:

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."  John 8:36
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death."  Romans 8:1-2

Welcome Home

Words and music: Keith Nunn
Lead: Nathan Lee

Lyrics:

A man filled with conceit and pride, a faith in things he’d only seen
A man so confident inside he didn’t need a “Prince of Peace”
He was living life for things that would one day fade away
He never thought of what they’d bring come the final judgement day

Oh yes he thought that he had everything
That his life was going well
He didn’t need a “King of Kings”
To save him from Hell

Chorus 1:
(Jesus) But Jesus looked down on him (to the) and knew there’d come a day (day when)
When this man would come running (he'd come), begging to be saved (hope)
And a tear fell from the Savior’s eyes (this man would) as He looked from His throne (find that)
‘Cause he knew that this man would find he’d always be welcome
He’d be welcome home

So if you feel you’re sinking down and that there’s nothing left for you
Like this world is spinning ‘round too fast for you to hold onto
Just turn your eyes to Him and take the path that He has shown
‘Cause with a light that never dims, you can always come back home

And if you think that you have everything
That your life is going well
Don’t forget the King of Kings
Who saved you from Hell

Chorus 2:
(Jesus) ‘Cause Jesus looks down on you (to the) and remembers to the day (day when)
When you came to Him running (you'd come), begging to be saved (hope)
And I tear falls from the Savior’s eyes (you would) as He looks from His throne (find that)
‘Cause He hopes that again you’ll find you’ll always be welcome
Always welcome home

Come home (come home), come home, come (come home) home
You who are weary come home

Repeat Chorus

Yes you're always welcome
Yes you're always welcome
You are welcome home

Scriptural Reference:

"When he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!   I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.  I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired men.'  So he got up and went to his father.  But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.  The son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'  But the father said to his servants, 'Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.  Bring the fattened calf and kill it.  Let's have a feast and celebrate.  For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.'  So they began to celebrate."  Luke 15:17-24

Instrument of Praise

Words and music: Brandon O’Dell
Lead: Nathan Lee

Lyrics:

I don’t know why I just start to cry sometimes and I feel so alone
The pain is too much and I long for Your touch inside satisfying my soul
But I know that You’re shaping me every day
And I don’t want to be a lump of unsculpted clay

But it’s hard (but it's hard) to realize (to realize) that You move (that you move) in ways beyond our eyes
What we need is to trust in You

Chorus:
Humble me, break me, do what it takes to make me
Into an instrument of praise, faithfully following Your ways
Give me desire, refine my soul in the fire
And then within Your holy blaze make me an instrument of praise

Still through it all I stumble and fall sometimes and I can’t find my way
The path seems unclear and I’m frozen in fear inside, getting weaker each day
But I’ve seen in Your word what perseverance can do
There will be great rewards if we can just make it through

Oh this road (oh this road) is so long (is so long) but we know (but we know) when we are weak You are strong
What we need is to trust in You

Repeat Chorus

Oh it’s hard to realize that You move in ways beyond our eyes
What we need is to trust in You

Repeat Chorus

And then within Your holy blaze make me an instrument of praise

Scriptural Reference:

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me."  John 14:1
"Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness."  Romans 6:13

Big Fish

Words and music: Jeromy Diebler © 1998 New Springs Publishing, Inc. (ASCAP - adm. by Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing, Inc.)
Arrangement: Brandon O'Dell
Lead: Kevin Nunn

Lyrics:

Chorus:
Are you in a big fish?
Are you sitting in the belly of a whale gone mad?
Have you turned your back on His wish?
His will for your life, have you made Him sad?
Do you wanna get out of the big fish?
Listen to God and follow His plan
And you won’t be part of the main dish
He’ll spit you out onto dry land (spit you out onto dry land)

You’re one brick short of a load now brother
You’re one shot away from the bulls-eye
You are missing the mark from your spiritual walk
Started walking away… now you’re sinking
Into the deep wake up from your sleep
See, you’re one fry short of a happy meal
You are incomplete by your own deceit
You turned your back… now you’re going swimming

Repeat Chorus

You’re sinking low, how low can you go?
So low that you don’t know which way to go
To the truth or to the dare?
If you take the dare then you’ll be swallowed there
Run to the truth and you will find
That rescue arrives just in time
To pick you up back on your feet
Obedience is neat

Repeat Chorus

One, two, three, four...

Scriptural Reference:

"The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai:  'Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.'  But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord.  Then the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up.  All the sailors were afraid and each cried out to his own god. And they threw the cargo into the sea to lighten the ship.  But Jonah had gone below deck, where he lay down and fell into a deep sleep.  The captain went to him and said, 'How can you sleep? Get up and call on your god! Maybe he will take notice of us, and we will not perish.'  Then the sailors said to each other, 'Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.'  They cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah.  So they asked him, 'Tell us, who is responsible for making all this trouble for us? What do you do? Where do you come from? What is your country? From what people are you?'  He answered, 'I am a Hebrew and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the land.'  This terrified them and they asked, 'What have you done?' (They knew he was running away from the Lord, because he had already told them so.)  The sea was getting rougher and rougher.  So they asked him, 'What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?'  'Pick me up and throw me into the sea,' he replied, 'and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that this great storm has come upon you.'  Instead, the men did their best to row back to land.  But they could not, for the sea grew even wilder than before.  Then they cried to the Lord, 'O Lord, please do not let us die for taking this man's life. Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man, for you, O Lord, have done as you pleased.'  Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard, and the raging sea grew calm.  At this the men greatly feared the Lord, and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows to him.  But the Lord provided a great fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was inside the fish three days and three nights.  From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the Lord his God.  He said: In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me.  From the depths of the grave I called for help, and you listened to my cry.  You hurled me into the deep, into the very heart of the seas, and the currents swirled about me; all your waves and breakers swept over me.  I said, 'I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.'  The engulfing waters threatened me, the deep surrounded me; seaweed was wrapped around my head.  To the roots of the mountains I sank down; the earth beneath barred me in forever. But you brought my life up from the pit, O Lord my God.  When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, Lord, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple.  'Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs.  But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you.  What I have vowed I will make good.  Salvation comes from the Lord.'  And the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land."  Jonah 1:1-2:10

The Walk

Words and music: Keith Nunn
Lead: Erik Bomboy

Lyrics:

There are so many journeys we take in our lives
Not a single one matters more in God’s eyes
Than the one that leads to Him
So I’m turning from the path of destruction I know
I’m turning to face my God and I’ll follow
I’ll follow Him wherever this road may end

Bridge:
'Cause what lies in front of me
Only God Himself can see
And He is guiding my way
And if I have any doubts
Anything I can't figure out
There's only one thing I need to pray

Chorus:
Help me on the walk, Lord, help me when I fall
Help me see the path when I can't see at all
Help me find the faith, Lord, each and every day
Hear me when I pray
Help me on the walk

So I’m walking with a wonderfully confident stride
Knowing that God is watching over our lives
Never has He failed me
And every day we walk down His road we’ll find
He’ll be there to guide us with His holy light
He’ll be a lamp unto our feet

Repeat Bridge

Repeat Chorus (x2)

Help me on the walk
Help me on the walk

Scriptural Reference:

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.  He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul.  He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.  Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."  Psalm 23:1-4
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path."  Psalm 119:105
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."  Proverbs 3: 5-6

The Slave

Words and music: Brandon O’Dell
Lead: Brandon O’Dell

Lyrics:

Lost and alone, direction unknown, sold as a slave to sin
Struggling with doubt within and without, relief from the prison I’m in
Shackled by the cares this world has to offer, lured away from what is true
Wrestling with greed and desperately in need, but what I don’t want to do I do

Recently I find that my body and my mind are at odds in a hidden war
Longing for the day when I can finally get away because I don’t want to fight anymore
Just when I suspect there is no escaping from this inner penitentiary
The gates burst open and my heart sings out for the Lord has delivered me

Chorus 1:
I praise Your name (praise your name) for what You’ve done for me
Lord I praise Your name (praise your name) ‘cause You set me free
Released me from these chains (praise your name) that were binding me
Liberated from this body of death, born again with life anew
Free from sin now I can begin to live my life a slave for you
I praise Your name

Others may decide that the hollowness inside can be filled with silver or gold
They bow and scrape but they can never quite escape the carnal world’s irresistible hold
Trying to keep pace with Mr. Jones, looking out for number one
They need to be released so their soul can have peace before their temporary days are done

I recall a man who could make them understand that there’s more to this life on earth
He talked the talk and He invented the walk and led a perfect life from His birth
Gentle and good, but misunderstood, He was beaten and killed by men
But the tomb lays empty and my hearts sings out “Hallelujah, He lives again!”

Repeat Chorus 1

Chorus 2:
For what You’ve done for me
I praise Your name ‘cause You set me free
Released me from these chains that were binding me
Liberated from this body of death, born again with life anew
Free from sin now I can begin to live my life a slave for you
I praise Your name

Scriptural Reference:

"But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life."  Romans 6:22
"What shall we say, then? Is the law sin?  Certainly not! Indeed I would not have known what sin was except through the law.  For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, 'Do not covet.'  But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire.  For apart from law, sin is dead.  Once I was alive apart from law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died.  I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death.  For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death.  So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.  Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! But in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it produced death in me through what was good, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.  We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.  I do not understand what I do.  For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.  And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.  As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.  I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.  For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.  For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing.  Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.  So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.  For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.  What a wretched man I am!  Who will rescue me from this body of death?  Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!  So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin."  Romans 7:7-26

Down at the Bottom of a Well

Words and music: Darin McWatters, Tim Brinkman, and Tim Sovinec © 1998 Bridge Building Music, Inc. (BMI - adm. by Brentwood-Benson Music Publishing, Inc.)
Arrangement: Brandon O'Dell
Lead: Kevin Nunn

Lyrics:

Well my life’s such a disaster, nothin’ ever turns out right
I’m so stressed with all my problems, can’t get any sleep at night
Everyone I know’s against me and my parents treat me bad
Now you know my whole life story, tell me does it make you sad

Taking every situation in the worst possible way
I can make anything seem bad, I know all the words to say
I exaggerate my stories, make things seem worse than they are
Drag my feet and slump my shoulders, acting sad’s where I’m a star

Chorus:
Look at me everyone down at the bottom of a well
Don’t bother rescuing me yet, I’ve not had time to whine and yell
I could climb out if I wanted, this hole’s not really that deep
At the bottom of the well, though, ‘cause that’s where I want to be

Even when the sun is shinin’ I complain of my sunburn
Sympathy and aloe vera are the things for which I yearn
When my baby wants to snuggle I say “I wanna be alone”
Fun like that just makes me happy, there’s no time to frown and moan

If I’d cast all of my cares upon the Lord as he commands
I know I’d find peace and shelter there inside His loving hands
But I’d not get the attention negativity provides
I’ll just find myself a hole, ask all the watch and jump inside

Repeat Chorus

I need somebody to tell me everything will be alright
Feeling miserable’s hard work, won’t someone pity me tonight?

Repeat Chorus

Repeat Verse 1

Scriptural Reference:

"Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall."  Psalm 55:22

Breath of Life

Words and music: Keith Nunn
Lead: Keith Nunn

Lyrics:

Walking down the road, I bear this heavy load
And feel like there is no one who cares for me
And I begin to doubt if Your arms are reaching out
‘Cause somehow I just don’t understand the things I see

I just can’t find my way, wandering aimless today
I’m trying hard to reach my own selfish goals
My every turn is wrong and this road it is so long
And every moment more and more takes its toll

But that's when you step in the way
And clear out all the clouds of gray
You show me I am not alone
And you have taken up my load

Chorus 1:
I need Your breath of life to breathe a fire down in me
To see the world through Your eyes as it should be seen
Make this day a new start, live my life for you
Oh sweet, precious Lord please show me what to do...
I need Your breath of life
I need Your breath of life

Still walking down the road, this time without my load
For God has taken all of my burdens away
Whenever I’m in need I’ll fall down on my knees
And I’ll begin to call on His name

And He still helps me on my way
He clears out all the clouds of gray
He shows me I am not alone
And He has taken up my load

Chorus 2:
I feel His breath of life it breathes a fire down in me
I see the world through His eyes as it should be seen
He makes each day a new start, He fills me up with His truths
Sweet, precious Lord, He shows me what to do
I've got His breath of life
I've got His breath of life

I'm walking down the road, I'm not alone

Scriptural Reference:

"The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."  Genesis 2:7
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."  Matthew 11:28-30

Whatever it Takes

Words and music: Keith Nunn
Lead: Kevin Nunn

Lyrics:

I’m lost in this world just searching for the truth
I’m wondering just what You want me to do
I look into Your word and I look into the sky
I’m waiting for some holy light to shine

And though it’s not a light, no luminescent sign
Written in Your word, right there I find
You say there’s just one way, one road that leads to truth
And now it’s clear what You want me to do

Chorus:
Whatever it takes, whenever You call
Whatever You need Lord I’ll give it all
Whatever You ask of this sinner’s heart
Whatever it takes, Lord, was Yours from the start

If ever I’m not sure of what the future holds
There’s always certainty inside my soul
No matter what the task, no matter what the need
It’s always clear just what You want from me

Repeat Chorus

Scriptural Reference:

"Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.'"  Matthew 16:24
